People die everyday. Ain't nothing knew bout death.

'TTSS' is a bbc series starring Alec Guinness from the early 70's (?)

I like Oldman, he's been a solid and above solid actor and hopefully the academy do the right thing and let an award fly before someone dies.
And the sooner Goldblum gets one, the better - that 'the Fly' isn't recognised still is a travesty.

'the firm' - 'leon' - true romance'.

You can see why a performance including snapping someones forearm in an arm wrestle and vomiting on your food to be able to digest it wouldn't have tickled the Oscar voters though. If he'd actually turned into Brundlefly ala 'De Niro' then he might have got the nod.

Give over, La Motta was always the easier of the two choices. Jeff pulled his own fingernails out, Bob just chased ass. 'The Fly' for me, without fail, it is a tour de force, the hooker, the donuts, the sacrifice.

Granted the personal transformation was as epic as Geena Davis mozzie bites but the real Goldblum for me is the Tall Guy Goldblum, the Right Stuff Goldblum. The Transylvania 6-500 Goldblum. He went all billy big head, open shirt toe to toe, chest up with Will Smith after Spielberg made him a rock-star nerd in Jurassic Park.

I would like to change my vote to Drive, please.

I've only just got round to watching it, but it was easily the best 2011 film I've seen by a margin of around 400000000%.

Looked great, sounded gorgeous, it was subtle one moment and heart-poundingly tense the next whilst managing to always seem appropriate and the acting and cast were stellar.

Now excuse me while I jib going to sleep and watch it again.

Never voted, but i absolutely loved Moneyball, Rise of the planets of the apes, Real Steel, and The Kings Speech - dont know which one is my favourite!!
