Barkley refused to sign a new contract and left to go to Southampton of all places, for 40 Million. They were in the relegation zone at the time where as we were top of the League

What season is that in?

I can't get the likes of Barkley and Ozil (in my case) to be good on FIFA, they're too slow. I was doing a career with Arsenal and Part exchanged Ozil for Bale.

Pretty similar to mine. Barkley wanted out, so I bought T. Hazard. I also replaced Mirallas with Giovinco who must have bugged on my career, because he grew to 87. Also picked up Iborra in the midfield.

I stopped having fun in career mode a couple of years ago and so this year I dumped a lot of resources into Youth Scouting. I've got LW and RW wonderkids that have 90+ potential and are around 70 at age 17. That has made it fun again.

Not worth the time investment if you aren't going to spend actual money to build your squad. Might as well do career mode.

In the meantime I have just scored a goal against Bournemouth and my manager has celebrated by doing a pelvic thrust right in Eddie Howe's face.
