The goals became all blue on mine well the inside if you get me
McCarthy is immense, a wrecking ball in the middle.
I presently reside in 19th place but Im getting the hang of it.

Got both. The journey is boss so far. Pes craps on it from a high height in terms of being a football game. Just not as beautiful, and has even worse commentary... and music selection. And menu's from early pes.

Playing season 2 at the minute and my target is win the league according to the board.
bloody annoying game, still think it's flaws in the game play rather than the game improving or becoming more difficult. The amount of shots that just go straight at the keeper, or mis hit, the amount of last minute tackles and interceptions, just gets on my nerves a little bit and bordering on the unfair AI.
Champions league campagin not doing too bad, draw with galatasaray after conceding a last minute goal, beat zenit 3-2 and just beat barca 3-1, riding my luck a fair bit
Compare that to the burnley game i played, 1-1, ball just kept getting stolen in the box off me, and their goal hit the post and went in off the keeper.......

I am playing the journey on amateur to my shame.I keep coming off the bench and scoring 3 and 4 goals only to be told your going out on loan.lol

My little review of the game itself.
I think a lot of elements have been improved quite well to be honest. Between the last and this there is loads of little things from loose balls, to the physics engine that is great. But what is wrong with it is sort of my hang up on it being not as good as last year. I'll begin;
1. Unfair AI. I play on Professional and i find a lot of the mechanics make the game more difficult than it should be. The defenders always seem to nick the ball away from you at the last second or knock it away. Just makes it feel like you have to be clear through on goal to stand a chance.
2. Player switching. boss one this, when the ball goes loose and it automatically or manually changes to a different player who isn't near the ball. Even had one last night where lukaku lost it and rather than keep it on him next to it, it switched to barkley miles away so i lost the ball. That is a flaw in the game.
3. Shooting. for the life of me i can't figure this out. I seem to hit it randomly straight at the keeper. It isn't power because i can randomly miss the target if i try for more, but sometimes i can bury it and sometimes it just gets drawn right into the keepers range to save it, like it is designed to do that.
4. Set pieces although better are random events now in my experience. If the other team will score they will score. not much you can do, hell even sometimes it can tell you its going one way and a different player gets their head on it, for and against you! Just seems like its half way there, having a bit more control defensively on them would even it out.
5. Player runs. My god they are still terrible. quite often rom will make a run and when you pass it, he has stopped in the worst place, which then combines with the defender magically winning it instantly. Makes it harder to play that through ball at times because you want the striker to move and either lose possession waiting or they run in the wrong place.
Just a few thoughts i have come accross, probably half these issues might not be relevant if you play PvP but i haven't been so there you go.

Fifa has been terrible for this for years. APU they'd rather do fancy updates than fix actual problems with the actual 'football' side of the game...

@ijjysmith I play Ultimate Team and the gameplay is so much more fluid after the update. There was previously a delay in the response but it's sound now.
