getn hang of it better now, can actually keep clean sheets and score,
bought lukuku class 15 goals in 14 games so far and neymar also v good,
chelsea agreed to sell me cech but wanted too much in wages
up next is hazard!!
 

So I'm playing manager mode with our boys.. Doing pretty good just into January, I sold Luis Saha at the start and purchased a young LB from the German league as cover for Bainsey. Here is my quarrel: I'm sitting second in the league, and in the final 4 of league cup..

First leg of league cup against spurs AT HOME I get blown out 5-2!! Every time they got the ball in the 18 yard box they netted.. Rapha vandavart* Scored a 40 yard free kick to start their rampage. I committed a foul at the midway line, their CB booted the ball to the box taking one touch off Defoe's head and in the net.. Yakubu scored two for me.

Very next game Chelski FA Cup first game.. 1-1 in stoppage time Lampard hits a screamer from 45 yards out giving me enough time to kickoff and the ref blow the whistle..

Fuming!!

Swap it for Pro Evo mate, that's just ridiculous. No one scores 40 yards free kicks against us like that, unless Paul Gerrard is in goal like.

Swings and roundabouts though mate. Last night I beat Chelsea in the cup with a 90th minute Iaquinta equaliser and a 92nd minute Arteta free kick (I nearly cried with happiness mind you!)

The fun is in building your team and then actually using it. Gradually going from a team of no marks to a team of superstars is really quite absorbing, and entertaining, imo.
 

Does anyone know if/how you can use the team you play with on career mode on an exhibition match? Would love to play as my amazing Everton squad against mates.
