Sold a load of dead weight (and Heitinga -- he wasn't getting a game, just like in real life), and bought Bale to complement Hazard (two deadly quick wingers) and then went all out and bought the Drog. Currently top of the league by an unrealistic margin

I'm happy with my dealings mind. Defour is ace despite quite an average rating. Happy with my midfield of Arteta, Fellaini an Defour. Is Hazard any good on the game?

Bale was about £15 mil I think, on a wage of around £40k, so not too bad in fairness. Drogba's on an insane wage though, and cost a tonne, but I thought hey what the hell.

Hazard is my favourite player mate. Quick as lightning, immaculate close control and a shot that makes your pants go soggy with pride.

i started my career mode on 'player' so i havent even got to the point of being able to do transfers yet.

im on season 4 .

season 1 i finished 8th and got into the euro league.
season 2 my pro named captain + player of the year , finished 1st in prem , fa cup winner and euro league winner .
season 3 charity sheild winner , euro super cup winner , finished 9th in prem , champions league winner.
season 4 euro super cup winner , 2nd in league so far and still in all the cups.

im hoping that by the start of season 5 i will be offered a player manager contract.
so im already looking into some players to bring in , heres a handy link to some players (edin hazard is the best teenager)
have to say it has been fun seeing duffy baxter akpan wallace etc given experience a few times alongside my pro in the past 2 seasons.
distin also retired in season3 and a very top notch 16 year old replaced him automatically .the new kid is called sarko(i think)

i have had 2 problems along the way , the fa cup and euro league wins didnt register on my trophy counter.
+ one match against spurs was rescheduled , but the game tried to play the match on the original date and crashed (to fix it i had to sim the day)

wow into your 5th season already. good job, man. im sitting 7th in my first season, with bale and sessegnon in and saha and vaughan out.

Can't go any further on current career mode. When I advance to the game, after the line-ups have came up, my game crashes! But the background music still plays..?

Anybody had this problem before?

Try finding the official EA forum for FIFA 11 and post your problem there.

No mate. Are you on xbox or ps3? I've heard the xbox version is a bit buggy.

Happened to me mate, then I got another bug where it turned the Everton kits red.

Take it back and swap for Pro Evo.
