Try holding the 'finesse' button when taking penalties. you have to get the slider into the green zone then power your shot.

Something else I found out last night, is the player ratings change depending on what position they play.

Put Hibbo up front and he's like 54. way way off just there. bad Fifa melts.

taking a penalty is easy. get the moving line in the green area of the bar , keep hold of your shoot botton till the second bar is about a quarter to half filled , tap left or right 3 times , nearly always goes in.

i only use the finesse shot if im outside the box at a strange angle. arteta and pienaar can wallop some stunning looping goals using it.

btw , ive noticed playing with everton online that i have more luck with the 4231 formation.....

played in the team mode last night for the first time.

playing alongside 10 random xbox live hoggers who actually think they can run it past 11 men online. great stuff.

Obviously I held it down, kept positional sense, set up our first goal, and thus recieved a 8.0 rating and scooped the champers for the Man Of The Match.

Looks ridiculous but is awesome for counter attacking. Coleman and Baines constantly overlapping and whipping balls in to Iaquinta (18 for season so far!) and Cahill to head in.
Thinking about summer moves already. Might be time to say goodbye to Pienaar and get a bigger midfielder in. Any suggestions?

Pienaar is terrible in this. Really useless. I think come the next window I'll get rid of him, Osman and Chung Yong Lee. Might see if I can get Landon in, or a big hit man. DZEKO!

lol bro I run the same 5-3-2 Baines has double digit assist already. I use Fellaini as a sweeper though

Just finished my first season after an epic long session (the mrs works nights on a sat). Finished 6th which is not great but not bad either. Really struggled against man united, Chelsea, arsenal and man city as well as a few other stupid losses (at home to wolves?!?!?!).
Iaquinta finished second highest scorer behind van persie. Fellaini is immense. Baines got injured twice. And I started in true everton style...badly.
My eyes really hurt now too, but I did have time to see man city offer me their managers job with a £91m transfer kitty...obviously I said no and stuck with us.
Board said I have to get top four this season so did my summer wheeling and dealing early. Out went Pienaar, Anichebe and a few randoms. In came Defour and Lukaku and Pavlyuchenko as reserve strikers (although Beckford did very well when needed)
I've had 3 cans of red bull too. Think I'm having a heart attack.

Sold a load of dead weight (and Heitinga -- he wasn't getting a game, just like in real life), and bought Bale to complement Hazard (two deadly quick wingers) and then went all out and bought the Drog. Currently top of the league by an unrealistic margin
