Anyone know the cheapest place to get this?

For the 360 the cheapest I saw it, out of the shops I've heard of, was for just under £35 from shopto.net. I noticed some shop had it for about £32, but I'd never heard of them (Jack of all games, I think it was called).

So anyway, I ordered from shopto the other day. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow :)

really really dissapointed with the prices going around.

asda is 97p if you trade in either hallo reach , f1 2010 or dead rising 2 (all new games ffs!!!)

tesco is £25 if you buy a full price chart title (all overpriced imo from tesco) and no mention of how much the game on its own will cost , im dreading it being the rrp of 49.99.

morrisons are doing the same as tesco.

gamestation and game its 39.99.(both £10 off rrp)

if anything i think theres been a fair bit of price fixing going on between companys.
i mean what are the chances of both morrisons and tesco changing there policies on fifa price this year (been £25 on the day of release as long as i can remember) and coming out with the exact same new rip off offers ? same goes for game and gamestation.

i hope the OFT look into this and take them to the cleaners.

Most people who buy FIFA spend 6-9 months playing it regularly. It's good value for money, so bitching about an extra fiver or something just comes across as cheap, to me.

I know games are costly, in a blunt sense. But when you add up how many hours you get from them, contrasted with anything from a match day ticket to a cinema ticket, you see they're not bad value at all.

If your local asda does trade in(most do) you can get £10 for FIFA 10. Which means FIFA 11 will cost you bout £20..

i see what your trying to say but its not an extra £5 though is it ?
its £15 more (39.99) than what they have asked for for every year for at least the last 3 years atleast (£25).in fact the low prices are the only reason i even considered buying games from tesco in the first place.
i also have to buy 2 copies , 1 for myself + 1 for my son. so thats a difference of £30 more than what i payed last year.
if tesco and other shops stop doing there competative offers , with the amount of games i get a year , that could increase my game buying costs by atleast £300 per annum.
expecting value for money and competetive prices on the day of release is a norm nowadays and noticing theres perhaps a bit of price fixing going on isnt cheap as far as im concerened.

Did you just skip my previous post? Isn't £30 cheap enough?

For those looking for a more realistic football experience.. FIFA 11 delivers.. The passing has been completely revamped, almost to the point of one getting pissed off at first.. but like any game if you play it you will figure it out.. Much more realistic this year, without a doubt...

i dont shop at amazon so its irrelevant to my point + there price is pretty much the same as last year (so if they can keep the sameish price why cant the massive supermarkets?).

my point......
obviously if i look around i can and will have to find it cheaper elswhere, but that doesnt change the fact that the place i normally get my games from and other shops = the price is much higher than normal and not competative.

sainsburys are the cheapest btw from what ive read.£26

When I price things up, I usually go by the cheapest I can get it for, not the most expensive.

So, why don't you shop at amazon? Or Sainsburys?

Sometimes to get the best deal, you have to look at more than one shop. That applies to everything. So don't moan at the industry. Moan at your local retailer, for charging the industry standard *gasp*
