The problem with Sulia (all profits from this post are going to charity)In response to a tweet Tom Todhunter, alias @FourFourTom, to me and to outline what is making mockery of this service:

Contrary to your insistence, people DO care about your laziness in using Sulia to post links to YouTube videos. This has contributed to severely devaluing the service, no matter how you or Josh Young from their management team try to spin it.
YouTube may, as you claimed, have "added the 'embed video' feature for a reason" but I seriously doubt it was designed to be exploited by a third-party website for maximum profit.
Sulia seem happy for people to profit from using their site irresponsibly, which is all the more reason to put any earnings from it to a worthy cause. Any money accrued from this post will be going entirely to a charity in the Merseyside area.
Clearly you don't see anything wrong with what you're doing, as you stated in a direct message last night, but plenty of others in the football community, both fans and journalists, do.
Please don't attempt to justify your deceptive behaviour further or claim that this is part of an agenda against you, because it certainly isn't.
On a wider issue, this isn't an issue about profiting from Sulia. Far from it in fact. People want quality over quantity and posting videos or GIFs with little or nothing else added to it isn't exactly what can be categorised as 'thoughts'.
The beauty about opinions is that everybody has one. Failing to harness that intellect only diminishes what potential this site has, or rather had.
Hopefully Tom and countless others that are or have been misusing Sulia will understand the point trying to be conveyed here as it is not a minority view, contrary to their management's claims.
