Fernandes had flair, but wasn't a good player overall for the team imo.

I am totally behind Moyes, and if he does sign him then as I said earlier, I'll want him to do well etc. But I think there are better options out there.

Yes I know, and that's why I've said many times that IF Moyes signs him, I will support him and go with it. How do you know Moyes rates him any way? At the moment it's only internet rumours, just like when we were on the verge of signing Riquelme :mellow:

No, I said Sidwell would add more to the team. I have already said that Fernandes does have some incredible skill. More than Sidwell, sure. But Sidwell is a good player who I think would suit us perfectly.

But he didnt sign.

Look football is a game of opinions and Cal in many peoples eys Sidwell has proved alot more in Premiership and English football than Manny did during the few games he played over here.

I have gave my opinion on Fernandes. It depends on reasons why he snubbed us - only a select few know that and one will be Moyes.
