I'd actually say that Pienaar is a poor man's Fernandes.

Not knocking Pienaar at all. Far from it.

But Manny can flat out play and if he pulled on the royal blue jersey again, I'd be over the moon.

I agree with you, Fernandes is better, just needs to work on his consistency abit, id be happy if we got him back, but im not sure Moyes and Kenwright would want him...

Very right and I think he'll definitely be a possible transfer target. We could also probably get him for cheaper than we were gonna to from Benfica since their manager doesnt want him.

Our midfield needs some boosting as well and he'd be perfect. Does anyone know if hes not allowed to play in the UEFA cup if he joins us because of Champions League games for Valencia?
