Player Valuation: Free Transfer
To be honest I have been fairly critical of the guy on a number of occassions, but tonight I dont really think that would be fair!

I was watching him tonight as he had the ball, his close ball skills are excellent, although his passing lacks weight, accuracy I think he has no problem with. What I was shocked by tonight was the number of times he had the ball and nobody except for Bily and Rodwell even made an effort to create space so he could pass to them! They just bloody well stood there! I was absolutely bloody furious at the end of the game!
He tried to push us forward and all to often it was played back down the field again!

Gosling is not good enough for Everton FC and I dont know why Yakubu is even playing at the moment, he just ain't fit, simple as! If Agard is good enough to be on the bench then he is good enough to be on the field. What difference does it make when Yakubu is not fit and we dont have any other players? Also Jo and Hibbert are about as useless as they come, nice guys, but how the heck is that going to win you games?

Yup thought he did ok tonight. His control and some of his flicks are superb. Just needs more of an 'end product' for me. Certainly our brightest spark tonight though.

is a cracking player. When the team learns to be where he wants them to be then times will change.

He is better than 90% of our players, and his speed of thought is starting to come to light. We just need people like spud and stevie P there to capitalise.

(Enter nay sayers, and the rest that do not know his past performances before he came to a team riddled with injuries, and not being able to show his full potential)

Its times like today's second half when you need Fellaini to stand up, maybe that will come as he gets older but he went missing second half.

As did the rest of the team like.

Oh so now its the teams fault hes gash, last season it was the language, new league, then it was a virus, then it was his teeth, now its the players around him.

15million pounds.

Yoann Miguel Gourcuff : The transfer fee was undisclosed, but was in the region of €13 to €15 million.

Look what we could have bought.

I thought he played well last season and scored us a few goals!

The big lad was no better or no worse than anyone in a blue shirt tonight......................the thing is they were all crap(n)

I agree with the OP, though Hibbert has been reasonably decent for much of the season.

Our movement in attack is pathetic, and we are far too hesitant in front of goal.

We don't attack as a team, and not only do we have no creative midfielder with pace in the middle, we have no wingers to get in behind even if we did.

We have too many similar players, and maybe it is time to decide who stays, and who gets sold in order to fill the missing pieces.

He's ridiculously slow in foot AND thought. He was our best player on the park tonight, but that's no stretch. As Frankie Boyle would say, like being the best looking man in a burns ward. whenever an attack gets to him he stops it. He isn't strong in the tackle. He can't run. He can't win a header without decking someone with an elbow. He takes up Cahill's position so one of them is always rubbish if they're both in the side.

Money could've been spent a lot better. He's the most frustrating player I've ever seen. He always shows little glimpses where you think 'he could be some player' then he does soemething that makes me want to grab him by his stupid ******* hair and chuck him off a bridge.

Fellaini put in a decent shift tonight. He still looks very underweight to me though, and seems to be lacking a bit of strength and stamina. Needs a rest like a few others, but we haven't got the players available, so they're all being pushed to the limit.

Which inevitably leads to injuries!
