We should name a stand after him in honour of the single best performance I've ever seen by an Everton player.

Any suggestions?

We have to be realistic and say we're not gonna have him for many more years if he keeps up his progress on the field.

Other teams will slowly take notice and we'll be powerless to resist a mammoth bid for him, and it will turn out to be good business and hopefully we'll further improve the squad for the money.

I just fear him being sold for something like 20m, and if that was ever the case I think I would cry for weeks knowing that Liverpool paid the same amount for the absolutely awful Jordan Henderson. I hope we can keep him, but this is Everton after all. I will just enjoy him while we have him, and keep my fingers crossed he wants to stay and none of the biggerboys come in any time soon. He's a ready-made replacement for Yaya Toure.

The Hair Bear Park End

He was immense last night, the sort of performance we would dream Big Dunc would put in but never quite managed. Best compliment you can pay him is it was like have Dunc back but better and more mobile.

Adds £10m to hi pricetag if anyone has the cheek to bid for him now anyway.

Have a look at some videos from the 80's mate, or my fave, Kanchelskis at Sheffield Wednesday 95/96 season I think.

Not taking anything away from how awesome he was last night, but that's quite a statement you made there.

I'm only 26, so too young to have seen games from the 80s myself. I've obviously seen the key games now, but never really studied a full 90 minutes and been sat there in sheer awe at how good a player has performed. Yeah Andrei was obviously immense, and that hat trick was superb, but it was only against Sheffield Wednesday. :) Andrei in the Anfield derby, another genius game. Can't forget this was against Manchester United, the team most people think are gonna win the league, and he completely annihilated their entire team for 90 minutes. Probably lost three aerial challenges all evening, and covered every blade of grass in the final two-thirds of the pitch. Class.

I was celebrating the goal and slipped over orange juice in my kitchen, apparently i now have a slipped disk :(. FFS FELLI!

Ive heard fans say he got a release clause in, around 26, which will be surprising as we dont usually put release clauses in contracts.

Think i just seen carrick looking bit deflated and wrinkled ..... or maybe hes just managed to get out of felianis pocket ....
