First time I've ever booed a substitution. I regret it in hindsight but I lost it. First time I've ever been at a loss for words with Moyes too. Yes Beckford was ****e today but we were 1-0 down to ****ing QPR FFS. Can't believe I'm going on wednesday.

No, I booed it too, and I don't regret it. Moyes got it horrifically wrong today. There's no beating around the bush about it. Moyes. Got. It. Wrong!

He's a poor manager from a tactical perspective.

I know I'll get flamed for saying so but you really have to be to start a 2nd successive season by losing to a crap team who nick a goal and defend all game, with crap defenders, and you have no idea what to do. Except take off a striker for a defensive midfielder.

It worked better than having Saha on did, for whatever obscure reason.
It really annoyed me when people booed. Everyone cries for a change in formation and then moans when we get one. It might have seemed odd but you don't know until you try it. It wasn't great but it was probably our best phase of the game imo.

I'm with you mate.
And to add to that - how many seasons have we been playing the same tactic now? 37 or something?

Exactly the same mate, got slaughtered by the fella sitting in front of me for boo'ing it, but at that stage what the [Poor language removed] was Moyes thinking!? We need a goal and we take a striker off? Just defies logic

Cahill's the first name on the team sheet, and as much as I love him, there's a time and a place for him and the subsequent 4-4-1-1.

This was not it.

The Moyes question is an interesting one.

The man has done a hell of a lot to make Everton better but his weaknesses are blatant and have been there a long time.

- Substitutions are laughable at times
- Team selection is usually too obvious
- The formation is ridiculous. 451 is only used to fit Cahill in I'm sure of it.
- And many more...

Now, there's been people bringing put the 'Moyes Out' banners and I really don't know where I am on that.

As pointed out he has his weaknesses. But who could we get who is better? And perhaps more interestingly, who would want to manage us?! The chairmans words this week have not exactly made us look attractive.

Moyes In or Moyes Out?!

I have no idea.

True that, too!
Hate it how he plays his so-called "favourites" instead of players who deserve to play in that given position and would benefit the team's performance. And, if anything, Cahill should be played as an out and out striker, not an attacking midfielder. He's getting old, losing pace, has never been a creative force anyway. As much as I love him - I would've rather saw Yakubu in a 4-4-2 with Beckford more than I wanted to see him in the position he plays...
