There was a great deal going on this tussle. I did see one time when Moro gat a punch on the chin but he stayed standing all the more credit to him.

But how can Huth get away with the constant manhandling and at leat twice had Moro in a headlock yet the ref ingnored all this. IMo we should have had 2 penalties in the first half because of Huth who was clearly preventing Moro from going for the ball. The lack of action by the ref is a mystery to me. But you can bet is it had been the other way round Moro would have seen red before half time. What do you think the ref should have done about Huth?

Both where holding on to each other tbh, but there was one massive penalty claim when Fellaini was as you stated, headlocked in the area. All in all, Halsey was'nt as bad as i thought he would be.

Fair play to Huth, he handled him well.

If the keeper hadnt been too eager he would have marked him well considering he's an awkward opponent.

Blame the referee for not spotting it.

Think Fellaini did very well to keep his cool. Him and Cahill had a lot of unfair challenges to deal with. The push on Cahill could also easily been a penalty. Halsey was truely shocking first half. Boro defenders could've gotten away with murder I believe.:@

it's happening all the time now tbh, the lad needs his hands strapping to his sides at times as he doesn't appear to be the one starting it but that wont matter to the refs, i'm all for reintroducing some biff into the game but ffs as the rules stand at the moment you cant be raising arms or greco-roman wrestling in the area, keep the hands down mo as i can see you being the one who gets punished.
let them take a chance by fouling you in the area, i'd rather see us get a pen than watch you chin some ale house defender. that said, put ush1ted out of the way in the semi then spark shrek out cold and moonwalk over his whole body, pausing to riverdance on his mush before doin' a bit of poppin' and lockin'

The bottom line is though is that as a defender up against a big grocks you would use those tactic. Its been done to me loads, Ive been out grocked by a savvy centre half.

Naturally, Im a bit gash but in professional terms you'd hope that the referee or linesman would spot it.

Fellainis made a bit of a name of himself with the refs it seems.

all the premiership teams are aware of fellaini and cahill's record now, they're gonna try and exploit them both by trying to aggrevate them and hope they get carded. bastards

Don't have a problem with that really, as it's the same game as Cahill himself likes to play. Don't blame Huth or any other Boro player for the tactics they used, as it's the ref who decides how far they can go. Halsey decided to do **** all about it though. Even worse Fellaini and Cahill got some ridiculous decisions against them.

Seeing on TV the way Fellaini was manhandled made his performance yesterday seem all the more impressive. Not only did he keep his cool, he went on to win the battle against Huth, who was outjumped for both of our goals.

Yeah I got a couple of photos on the corners, and one has Huth with like two chunks of Fellaini in either hand.

Huth should have conceded a number of penalties for his actions.

For halsey to give them the other way when Fellaini fought to free himself was ridiculous. Thought Halsey had a fairly ok game other than that battle.

The commentator was saying that we need to see more pens for them situations like, defenders get away with murder at corners these days.

Cheers that is exactly what I was wondering, does it constitute a Pen or an indirect free kick in the area.

Whatever, Huth was getting away with it.
