With 12 weeks or so between seasons you are bound to get Stupid threads as you call them, it's normal to get wound up, dummies thrown out of prams, argue, fall out, talk [Poor language removed], have a laugh.......etc.
As much as we are Evertonians and footy fans in gereral, a little break in the action is much needed, cant talk footy all the time mate.
