Player Valuation: £40m
It's looking like February will be the month that defines our season:

Liverpool (A)
Chelsea (H)
Sporting (H)
Man Utd (H)
Sporting (A)
Spurs (A)

Strange really that we won't have to leave Liverpool between 30th Jan (Wigan away) and 25th Feb (Sporting away). I'm not sure if it will be an advantage to the team in anyway. Perhaps they'll get into a rhythm of playing at home?

It's probably come about a month too soon in terms of player fitness. Vaughan and Yakubu still aren't able to complete 90 mins and they've been back for a month or two, so there's little likelihood that Arteta and Anichebe will be up to speed before the month is out.

Because the games are all of such importance there will be little opportunity to ease players such as Senderos into the action.

Fingers crossed, we'll still be in touch come March. Our run in looks fairly comfortable. We've only got to face Villa, Birmingham and Fulham from the top half of the table.

Its on like donkey knong!

In some ways we perform better against so called bigger sides, they tend not to play the spoining tactics that have been the bain of our season so far - Brum, Stoke, Hull, Wolves.

Im not very pessiamistic of our chances of turning over one or two of these Chelsea and Arsenal were blessed against us away, so we have it in us. Liverpool and Spurs we have a chance of turning over, we are well capable of holding Man U and Chelsea at home. 8 points out of that would leave us nicely poised with a tidy run in.

Holy Moly....

That is some month huh!? But that's what we're in it for!!

This could be an immense month

There are some very tough League games in there. Cannot see us improving our league position this month. I think there is only a possibility of 3/4 points in there.

Its a tuff month. If 1 of our strikers hits a goal scoring form, we can win all the games. At the mo there all a little off the boil.
An if wayne really Love us then a OG or 2 will do nicely

I think the Merseyside Derby is going to to set the pace for us in February, if we win and get three points from them, we would fear no one then.

If that happen I certainly expect us to get something from Chelsea or Man Utd and I always expected us to get at least something off Spurs.

Sporting is a strange team, I have been watching alot of there matches highlight on TV recently, they are a decent side but no where near as good as Benfica, I think we could take them on and if we take a decent advantage at home like a 2-0 lead, I did expect us to get through to the next round!

Didn't Moyes already cover this in an interview this week?

Exactly my sentiments mate. I look at that run of fixtures and think 'fekking superb'. You only see that when you're part of the elite. Be funny to compare the fixtures for february for that massive team known affectionately as the barcodes.

It's interesting to not that the Premier League teams that we're facing during February all have centre back 'issues':

Liverpool are without Agger and are using Carragher at right back, whilst Kyrgiakos partners Skrtel.

John Terry from Chelsea will hopefully not have his head on the game after his 'indiscretions'.

Rio Ferdiand is banned for United, while Vidic and O'Shea are injured.

Spurs have lost Woodgate for the season and have to keep King in cotton wool.

Let's get at them! ;-)

Now if we had a striker actually on form at the moment...
