This will be a tough game. They have already showed they can move the ball around and their players can run, defence looks strong as well and on the first leg gave little away to our midgets. 1-0 to us is all we need, not a draw followed by penalities .

yup, i'm going into full blooded optimist mode for this match. See if a bit of Yuri Geller positive thinking can get us through. The way i see it is that last match was a freak, plus

- We've got Arteta back.
- our forwards seem to have remembered how to create something
- They've got two defenders suspended
- We actually should have had more penalties than the two we were awarded - a lot of their "solid defence" involved rugby tackles/martial arts moves.
- That ref bottled it after the first penalty and let them get away with murder (including the retake)
- Ive never seen Everton put on such a nervous display as that last match - too much legging it around not enough composure and thought. Dont think that will happen again.
- Half-hour delay didnt help anyone (team or the fans) -The goodison crowd were great at the start but then got very nervous and i think the players were guilty of that too.
- They didnt have THAT many breaks on goal - the breaks happened when we flooded pople forward to try and break them down and forgot about defending.
- ..... And did I mention we've got Arteta back?
