Had really high hopes for this band, as this was a belting single.
Massive in the States, not so much here. ( away from the school boy stuff, they did some really good stuff )
Not sure theyād get away with this today

But amazingly with his production skills that was it.
Itās a really good single, but was always viewed as a novelty record for some reason.

Sorry, thought it the band name came up with the vid.
They`re called The Railway Children.
Wigan band, who were originally started off all moody and signed to Factory Records with Joy Division etc, they then went more poppy and got signed to Virgin on the strength of this one.
It used to get played a lot in a club I went to at the time and became a bit of a sing along anthem in the club, as it was one that both the lads and girls could get up to !
