Muscles from a tiny restaurant in a small village down on the Devon coast. Literally had a few seats in and was extremely 'cosy'.

The muscles however were out of this world - so fresh and the taste was amazing. And there was literally pounds (lb) of them for a pound (£).

After that, a unknown curry I had in a street-side restaurant in Dehli back in 1999. A strange mixture of seafood and meat - marvellous!

Probably cost no more than a few quid either for everything. If it was in the UK though, a Surf-n-Turf n the Greyound in Henley-upon-Thames.

Think the starter there though probably cost more than all the other meals in the other two restaurants combined.

Ceasars palace in Liverpool city centre used to do AMAZING fried chicken, chips and coleslaw and beans.

I miss being young :coffee:
