Do any of them actually work and if so what ones are safe to take ? Put on a stone over the past few months (now 12.5 stone) and whilst im eating less and doing plenty of exercise im still interested in whether these fat burner supplements i always hear about actually work ?

I'd avoid, myself.

The wife had Orlistat years ago and it had short term effects but I'm not an advocate of them.

Try the cocaine diet mate, you'll be super efficient and thin as well.

Move more, eat less.

Seriously. No need for pills or fad diets.

I'm not a health fanatic saying that either, in fact I'm on the heavier side but I'm fully prepared to say that it's because I eat too much and don't move as much as I should.

Wouldn't touch them myself. You can lose weight the right way. Came back from Italy after a week of riding and was 2kg lighter than when I went, despite eating around 4,000 calories a day.

Make sure you eat the right stuff. I've found it's useful to keep a diary of what's going in vs what's going out. It's very easy to underestimate what you eat and overestimate what exercise burns off. You don't need to stick to it religiously, but it'll give you an idea of what you're diet is like.

Tried the Lipo Blacks a while back...

All it did was make my heart race, palms go all clammy and generally made me feel uncomfortable.

As everyone's saying, do it the right way w/ some exercise and cut out the fizzy drinks, fried food and sweets and you'll be surprised how easily the weight drops off.

You wouldnt overfeed or feed crap that you know is bad to your pets - why treat yourself any differently?

I used protein shake supplements when training for a fight recently, as I was not really eating enough and you end up burning muscle instead of fat.

If you are eating sensibly though, lots of protein and lots of exercise you probably don't need them.
