If you put the hinge of the reflective box at the bottom and assuming the light source is from above, then you wouldn't have to close the box at the speed of light, as the light would be reflecting into the box at an ever decreasing angle off the inside of the door.
 
Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, not even Royston Drenthe. In fact, not even light most of the time.

Hypothetically though, the answer is 81.

Isn't that just 'sound waves' though? Isn't the reception of those sound waves and subsequent conversion into 'sound' by an ear really the the thingy or whatever?

I started off strongly there but ran out of steam.
 

When they put the Enterprise into warp factor 5, how can they see the stars behind them?

Because they are seeing the light that is already there, they are just catching it up and passing it.

Also, you will see tidbits of the future before they play out.....future echoes.
 
What's the difference between sound and noise?

If a tree falls and there is no one to it does it doesn't make a sound, but it still makes a noise. Perhaps?

That would work for the stars in front of them, but if they have passed the stars, and they are travelling faster than the light from those stars, they shouldn't be able to see anything behind them.
