Its night and day lid. His are genuinely funny and astute. Mine are nothing more than a way of opening a thread on a forum.

Do opposition forum's pick up my previews? Sound if so. Truth is that apart from some rather nice folk on the forum, not many read mine. Don't blame them either like.

Big difference is that mine have the benefit of @GrandOldTeam's social media black magic. But if you read the Facebook comments on his page though not many lids click the article and read it.

Recommend highly anything Mark O'Brien writes though. Probably the most talented Everton writer out there, we're lucky to have him.

Nah just realistic lid. I know my place, I'm not a writer and I buzz that any other blue would think anything I do write is worthwhile reading.

I do them because when I have time I find it therapeutic to write stuff about Everton and also because GOT is a mate so I want to offset the bad beaut I am on the forum to help his site a wee bit.

That apart, the previews at best just another blog, of hundreds on Everton. Those blogs aren't lucky to get the exposure mine do though. The only difference.

They complained officially to @GrandOldTeam who copied me on his response where he rather beautifully told them to "behave" and may have called them soft lad.

Then they fumed some more lobbying local politicians etc. An ace preview that, well the title of it anyway.

They still hate us.

Tar. You should always judge it by how you would approach it though. I honestly wouldn't read my previews as their too samey and all a bit one trick. Hand on heart.

Another good Everton site is thisisnotfootball.com, sadly not updated as frequently as it used to be but the blog posts always talk a lot of sense and are often very funny.

At this moment, it suddenly occurred to me. Your previews. Chances are, GrandOldTeam has inadvertently abused every single person in that room at some point.

"GRAND OLD TEAM..."

That traipse from the back of the room to the stage, and eventual speech... seemed an eternity.

I'm pretty sure one table in particular was full of Hull Tigers fans too.
