Watched Jess Phillips on a programme not long ago, and she pointed out that it’s impossible to know where funds received by political parties actually come from due to shell companies and the like. Same must be true for any entity receiving money.

I can't see much risk of Moshiri being sanctioned directly. This is just all about minimizing the collateral damage arising from his links to sanctioned individuals and entities.

Don't see it helping him or us much. Difficult to see banks or sponsors and the like wanting anything to do with someone of his risk profile for quite some time.

Is Usmanov's nephew still on the payroll? That isn't going to help either.

I'd guess we'll be up for sale pretty imminently.

Ultimately the money he's pumped in is mostly debt (unless written off in sale price) which will make us unattractive to a prospective buyer.

That’s what converting to equity means, doesn’t it? More shares get issued, and the “debt” owed is converted into shares which the loaner then owns.

Doesn't really matter what his wealth is - without USM's cooked sponsers propping our accounts up the PL rules & FFP wont allow us to spend and rebuild this God awful squad of ours.

Thats what people aint grasping - Bill Gates could buy us tomorrow but unless one of his bessie mates companies fancies chucking £40-50 million a year at us to sponser the training cones we're done for sir.
