Yes, quite right steve, nothing to see here. Just an Uzbek *businessman* being accused of owning Everton via a puppet he installed here.

How silly of us to make a mountain out of that molehill.
Panorama will just make the suggestion of a link, they won't be able to prove anything and they'll be very careful to not leave themselves open to litigation, so will not make definitive statements. All this is, is what a lot of us thought from the off.

No, you and the other reasonable and rational people are correct.

This is no big deal.

Why would the owner of your club being investigated for being the cats paw of a dodgy Uzbeki *businessman* be a problem when they're in the process of persuading institutional investors that their cash is going to a stable PL organisation?

It's just scaremongering.

Evening Toffee.
Hes not being investigated, they are asking questions, the answers from the EPL will jog them on, then you can crawl back into your hole!!!!

Probably not. But the rest of the country will then harbour the suspicions that we do: the likelihood that there is that situation at Everton of outside control.

How can that be good for us?

Can anyone really believe that the legal eagles of Everton, Mosh and Usmnaov cocked up, not me. Panorama think they have a hole and want to put the boot in. But in all this what is their motive for the programme? What is the objective of Panorama?

Why isn't it reported in regards to Arsenal, it's one of their shareholdrrs that's a bit iffy going by their angle, he's the Mr Big...

Exactly Dave, Everton will be a roadside casualty, which some folk who shall be nameless will crow about for years to come.

Yeah im failing to see how thats a bad thing, maybe you can explain.
Because it's

A) important how the club is perceived in these days of club branding
B) every commercial transaction, including the stadium build, will need to be free of any association with AU...something we've been unable to do so far

Let's not pretend this is nothing. It is. It's damaging.
