Everton stopped being a pauper club regardless of Moshiri not because of... he's not put any money in yet, he just happened to join the year all premier league clubs became rich..

Luckily that's not true or it would of been a lot of years without having any players.
Well, they did attract our leading (only
) regular goal scorer to the club and will almost triple their investment by selling him next summer if reports are to be believed.They also attracted a talent so hot (at the time) that Barcelona would not sell him to us without a buy back clause.
And although it finished tits up, they did attract the most high profile, world superstar player we have had at the club in many a long day, beating the RS for his signature.

So Alisher Usmanov was to have his shares in Arsenal sold by now and Everton bought before Christmas..... A lot of heated debate about this with a fair few people adamant this was happening. Never really seen it happening myself, just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this now.
