Well you've said you don't think he's a bad owner, and you're happy with the business Koeman has done, which was only possible due to Moshiri. So if it's not because he hasn't spunked half a billion like I just said, I'm really struggling to see what the issue is

I've told you why, because i don't believe he's put his hand in his pocket, for you to comment that i think he should of spunked away half a billion is crazy.

Its been a frustrating summer all round I feel, we are now coming to the "end" of phase 1, it clearly didnt go as planned, I think we can all assume that, but you know theres a lot to do, im willing to give them plenty of time to crack on with it, when all around are losing their heads..........
Mg mate they need Europe next year to attract the players they want maybe moshiri and co have noticed this

Im not sure its quite fair to say others are using straw men, when you throw up one to tear down. "or worse still that anyone uneasy with the situation is wanting £100M spent and a spade in the ground down the docks next week?"
How is that a straw man when that very accusation has been levelled in one form or another all over this thread?

I think there's a lot in this window that is alarming, tbh. There are many glaring similarities with what's passed before in years gone by.

Like I've repeated many times, the majority of transfer activity happens in the latter stages of the window. Let's wait and see how the squad looks in a weeks time eh?

If the window had closed I'd agree with you. But it hasn't... Let's wait and see eh?

Why are some seeing any criticism of the situation as doubting Moshiri, or worse still that anyone uneasy with the situation is wanting £100M spent and a spade in the ground down the docks next week?

That's just a lazy way of dealing with justified concerns at the way things are rolling out.

Sorry I must have missed what your concerns are if it isn't about the money. Just so i can understand a bit more, can you say what's the problem(s) you have with Moshiri?

I can start with one, he is probably a bit too silent, but then you can get brash Americans that will give it all 'spade in the ground in the next 90 days' but that didn't work out too well for them lot. So it's always a trade off between over promising (like AV'S new owner/martinez) and some one who just gets things done.

But he bought the club. Well, most of it.

Then seems to have put in place plans to make us ace again. Stadiu and all that.

But if you will judge after Sept 1st, or whenever the window closes, then fine.

I get that. But it is the "We havnt spent £100m" shouts that tend to grate on me.

It is a change of ownership after so long under Bill. Things will take time. And if we have a negative spend this window, but the team improves, which early signs are is happening, then I dont get the angst.
Maybe moshiri has put that aside now to see if we get Europe this year and then go crazy it would be above board then to spend majorly and rise the wages accordingly with the rules
