Hope Wolves/Watford win the FA Cup to show this clown up for what he is.

I hope they do win it to break up the big 6 monopoly on the cup, your incandescently embarrassing fawning over them can do one though, never seen a so called Blue kiss a couple of club's backsides as much as you while continuing to slate his supposed own club so much for every minute thing

Wolves and to a lesser extent Watford symbolise everything wrong with Moshiri.

Wolves have no greater financial clout than us however their owners have a clear plan and went out and got in a decent manager and got Mendes on board

Moshiri on the other hand appoints duffer managers, appoints a scout as DOF who goes on to waste millions on scattergun signings.

Watford sack a manager incapable of taking them forward not caring of the clubs rep in the media and have now found for their level a decent manager who has brought some balance to them.

Moshiri on the otherhand has stuck with a proven dud and chased after said dud from the side now above us and in a cup semi.

He's an idiot and out of his depth. How fans still think this fella is taking us anywhere but midtable at best I'll never know.

Our only hope is that Usmanov comes on board as he wouldn't accept his name associated with such mediocrity. That or soon as BMD is done Moshiri sells up and buggers off into the sunset.

Just a minor point, Wolves owners are considerably wealthier than Farhad.

They haven't spent more than what we have though.

Mike Ashley is one of the leagues richest owners it doesnt do Newcastle fans any good if he chooses not to spend it.

FFP also now plays a big part hence why a good manager and proper system in place is so vital for success now.

So much of the posting in here seems to be a measuring competition of moshiris wealth vs other club owners, or the continued pining/suggestion for Usmanov coming in so we start to spend like a computer game in cheat mode (based on the usual group of so called ‘ITKs’ dripping in the odd snippet here n there).

Moshiri is what we can assess from fact so far.

An extremely wealthy man, but certainly not so wealthy that we are in any way a vanity project akin to Chelsea under abramovic early years or the current Man City/PSG (noting that the same Usmanov ‘ITK’ lot said that’s what we would be under FM, a dig through of those old transfer threads will remind of the bullmanure merchants). This and the comments the man himself made at the AGM seem to suggest the prospect of a (net) spending spree in the £100m+ range this summer under a high profile new manager is pie in the sky. The clubs strategy appears to be more sustainable investment on the playing side, sweating the playing assets already brought in and reducing the wage bill to a level below the currently quite worrying levels in terms of % of turnover.

Any wealthy man will have a plan in making a big investment that will increase said wealth eventually. My own opinion is that anyone who thought/still thinks Moshiri is some kind of benefactor willing to write off £100m’s is on a fools errand. It appears Moshiris principal plan on this (return on investment) is connected with a new stadium. The progress (of lack of) and funding of which has been debated and speculated widely in the stadium thread. The wisdom of centring an entire clubs future on the delivery of a new stadium facility can be pointed to at the football clubs/sporting institutions that have done so/pinned all hopes on it prior, let’s says it’s hit and miss at best. I hope it all works out in our favour.

Dreadful mistakes have been made under FMs tenure to date across several aspects of the club, but certainly some progress too. If we can move to a sustainable football model spending what we earn wisely under a high quality structure on the football side coupled with the growth of the clubs commercial side (still poor compared to our peers) and the the centrepiece delivery of a new ground; that’s about the best we can hope for. If these things give us a competitive (competitive not meaning an expensive collection of mercenaries) team and and more enjoyable match day experience that will do for me in the medium term. At the mo even these basics seem a fair way off.

Has more intelligence and knowledge of finances in his little finger than any of us will ever have

The only mistakes he's made, let's be really honest here, are appointing Steve Walsh to a position way above his station and that was because his two preferred options Monchi, who agreed then reneged by all accounts, and Brands, chose to stay with PSV for an extra season, weren't available, and appointing Allardyce. He rightly sacked Martinez because we were in free fall, the Koeman appointment made sense at the time because he was coming off the back of a great job at Southampton (as shown by how far they've dropped since) and no one could have forseen without a crystal ball how bad it would have got 18 months down the line but he was rightly booted. Even Silva made some sense as he'd got Hull playing some good stuff with some fight, and would have kept them up had he joined earlier or brought them up had Watford not tapped him, likewise Watford played some brilliant stuff last season under him before we came calling.

Had we had Brands or Monchi in like he wanted, there's no way the likes of Klassen, Rooney, Bolasie, Schneiderlin, Walcott and Tosun would have been signed causing the headaches we have right now

I agree the Koeman appointment made sense at the time however since then all good will has gone with the Alladyce and Silva appointments.

Yeah . He didn’t do much when he had the ball that first half

He's put us in this position chasing a blusted flush like he was Pep Guardiola.

Add in that expected loss comment which sets the tone of expectation at the club from the top down.

Disgusting ownership and if people cant see he's another Lerner/Short more fool them.
