I do day to day maintenance for local social housing groups. Anything really apart from gas n leccy.

Everything from locksmith to fitting complete kitchen/bathroom.

Plumbing, joinery, tiling, etc etc etc

If the social housing is in a similar state to the ones I see every day round here, you must see some tips.

Christ yes. My heart breaks at least once a week seeing how some people survive. It's the 21st century ffs. People shouldn't have to struggle to choose between food or heating for any particular day.

Makes my blood boil. Different thread that though.....

Aye. Still seem to buy crap off the internet though!

Hope he gets sorted though.

PM me your address and when you are about. Will chuck it in the van and drop it off. ;)

@Russian Evertonian PM me your address if you haven't sorted this stuff out by the time you've moved and I'll sort you some crockery and cutlery and a basic toaster and kettle.
Can't decide who's van Russian's gonna end up in the back of now.

Will make a few calls tomorrow, see if I can round up some more bits off family etc. People always have 'stuff' they don't really need.

Superb tommye. Should arrange a GOT collection or something ( a tenner? ) to help this poor lad out and get started- and more importantly get his family over ASAP . I'd chip in a tenner. Would contribute stuff but shafted by my ex and got sod all furniture wise now myself
