The first time I heard of Stiff Little Fingers was when watching High Fidelity when I was about 14. The geekiest of the three record store guys puts on 'Suspect Device' and an equally geeky girl shyly asks him if it's a new Green Day song, to which he demurs and talks of the song's provenance. This little exchange blossoms into a beautiful romance that reminds us of love's ability to find a way into all of our hearts, no matter how awkward we may be around those to whom we find ourselves attracted.

However, it does not teach us that it's OK to try to photograph teenagers who happen to have pale skin and wear black clothes. Nothing teaches us that.

Toy Dolls, ace, love that Dig That Groovy Baby LP, never seen them though.
Mate of mine who worked in a record shop in the north east was telling me they found a couple of 1000 copies of the Nelly The Elephant single and they sold the lot to someone in Japan where there massive.
