Fans that boo.

Evetyone has a right to boo. This Goodison crowd sat through the horror of the 90s and then backed Moyes to the hilt for 10 years even during low times. What was different was they at least had a bit of hard work and endeavour to feed off. I've been there when the crowd have virtually rescued points for Everton. So stop trying to make out we're all bad fans for booing. There is no reason the players cannot as a minimum replicate at least the effort of Besic and Stones. No one is booing them. Insteaf their is rank laziness and apathy from certain players and craziness from the manager. I would be embarassed if people didn't boo. We're not blind sheep clapping a shower of rubbish week in week out. We gave them support and how did they respond? With nothing, no increased effort, no change of approach from the manager. The one thing that has pressured the failing status quo is fan booing. I am all for it. If the effort increased, the booing would stop simple as that. Whilst we're paying the wages of players not interested and a manager taking us down. We'll boo simple as. This crowd barely booed in 10 years under Moyes so don't anyone be giving it the 'we've got rubbish fans' line.

This. The least the players can do is show some heart and effort.

You'd never believe Barkley was a Blue. Ok, his confidence is shot but you'd at least give it your all, wouldn't you?
Anyone of us would run around like a madman, go for every 50/50 (before the inevitable heart attack!)

Not into booing the players but the big one for the sub of Besic needed to be done.

I remember a night match against Spurs, we were drawing with about 15 minutes to go and Moyes made a real negative holding out for the draw type sub, last night reminded me of that. Not that his sub last night was going for the draw, but the crowd reaction to a move we didn't like was similar, and it was also often cited by many fans as a turning point between wanting Moyes in to out.

Probably already been said, but the booing wasn't aimed any player, or the team, but at the decision by Martinez to sub Besic. In the second half, the crowd actually got behind the team and there was no booing (no applause either) at the end. Even though they are now making out he had an injury, this is no defence for Martinez as he takes him off first virtually every match.
Can't believe that there was anyone there last night who thought, "you know what, that's an inspired piece of management". If you thought the decision stunk, what options have you got -you boo! Moyes got the message after the Spurs game referred to above and, for a while at least, stopped making defensive subs, and hopefully Martinez will also take note

I cant bring myself to boo. Respect the right of the fans who do, but i just cant do it. I <3 Everton even when we dont desrve it

Not being funny, but maybe the booing was one of the reasons he stunk the place out? The lads confidence looks shot to bits, last night every time the ball came near him he look petrified and couldn't wait to get rid of it.

.....if we're talking about Barkley it's a game and a situation like that where a truly top player makes the difference. I was so wanting him to do that but he didn't. I've been so wanting him to do that on many occasions but he hasn't. No age, no confidence excuses. He simply needs to deliver.
