Fans that boo.

Embarrassed to be a blue this morning. Thought we were different. No foresight and no understanding of human nature. Plastic, instant gratification seekers. How disappointing.

We have every right to boo. We have dropped so many points at home this season to teams that should easily be turned over 2/3 nil. Goodison used to be a fortress, teams used to fear playing us here. Players need to know what it means to wear the Blue jersey instead of putting half hearted shifts in. We have a captain that shows no leadership , shows no aggression and looking at the team , there's nobody that deserves to be captain at the minute.

Sorry but I can't really keep it in. That's not a slight on everybody - and I do understand emotions run high etc but I was tempted to walk out for the first time in my life last night

No offence taken at all mate. Everyone has opinions. Not the first time we've bood this season though. Why was it different last night? Didn't sound much different to Stoke to me.

Im not a boo'er unless its the ref or something.

BUT

Don't the players need to know from the fans that drawing at home 0-0 vs west brom when we are 3 points off the bottom 3 and winless in 13 games is simply not good enough? Don't the players need something to go from to encourage them to try and improve, or martinez to try and change things?

Surely its cheering them no matter what that they thik 'oh well, not won in 2 months now but at least the fans still cheer us'

Boo all you want. The players dont care they still pick up their wages that we struggle to make in a year at the end of the week. Like someone said above no wins in 13 games you have every right to boo them

Cheers mate. Can't really answer your question. Felt different somehow. A few blues behind me were having a go at each other. Maybe I have a romantic view of football but I see the fans as part of the team, not apart from it. If things go wrong, we should be sticking together, not laying blame.
As you say, each to their own. If venting frustration feels like a better option than helping the players, so be it. I just can't subscribe to that viewpoint. Seems maddeningly short sighted.

I wouldn't boo mate, but I can see why people do. And for me they have their right to do it.

Just wish the players sorted their heads out then this wouldn't even need to be talked about!

I don't boo personally but people have every right to do it at the moment, they pay there money and if they aren't pleased with what they are seeing they are entitled to voice their displeasure.

What I'm more arsed about and embarrassed about, was the fact that, more people inside Goodison last night showed more support for a rocky film at half time than for our struggling team, who make no mistake about it are in deep trouble. It was absolutely embarrassing.

I thought the exact same last night. i think the fans need to get behind the team as much as they can. look at the man city game the fans were great and you could see it helped the side
