Fair enough, if people dont like the rules they need to stay away.
Spot on mate, we all know the rules on masks everywhere now - can only think they had had a few tinnies down em and got a bit lairy and carried away?

No food or ale on inside the ground.

The offies were all open around the ground, so few peeps had tinnies in the street (nothing mad though).

Chippies were open, and seemed understandably made up to have us back. The hot wok was shut (gutted no beef satay, but can't have everything!)

I found it quite sad to see all the pubs shut - really hope they manage to survive and get back open once this is all over.

The supporters that attended last night's match were surprisingly supportive. There was none of the usual moaning or general negativity that has plagued us in recent years. Long may that continue. Best match I've attended in many a year.

100%, I had a few tears at hearing the old Goodison roar. Those 2000 sounded like 200,000 to me.
Sorry to say I missed all the noise, I always turn the sound off, can’t stand any of today’s commentator, so well done to all of you who went and cheered the Blues to a great win and I hope it inspires the players to many more wins at Goodison this season.

Because I wasn't there. Boooooo Booooo

It was odd but strangely great just to be back there, and lovely seeing and chatting to some familiar faces and the usual stewards, who did a fantastic job under really strange circumstances.

It was Quite an emotional experience if Im honest - sorry for being a soppy git.

Best supporters in the world, without doubt.

UTFT!
Soppy git... Only joking!!!

I know - it was dust/allergies I swear!

I Think it was seeing a few familiar faces and having a quick catch up, seeing how they been through this crappy year, also hearing some heartbreaking stories of the people we've lost to this bloody thing - like catching up with old friends and family.

Then just seeing the magic and excitement on my little lad and girls faces, they were hyper all day and just walking around the ground before kick off. Then especially when we saw the pitch under the lights ( I don't think a stadium in the world can touch Goodison and what it gives us on a night game).

It nearly got too much when the sirens started, but I managed to sort meself out!

Anyway, it was great to be back and I can't wait until we are all there again, yes, even the park end dementors!

Not sure how 2000 in the park stand would be a problem in addition to the 2000 in separate stands.

Unless it's the numbers on public transport?

2 blokes were ejected from the Upper Gwladys 3 minutes after kick off, not sure why although some loud gobby comments had come from the area they were sitting. Both had masks on when they were escorted out by stewards and Police for their 'infringement' - 3 minutes after 9 months of lockout, unbelievable Jeff!!
