get rid i say. you are now seeing an improvement in playing style and as a result players like hibbert,mcfadden and carsleystart to stand out. this is just a natural progression. as soon as moyes started rhino started to pump the ball when others were trying t play it. the same is happening now. mcfadden promised to be great but sadly wont be and the team will show him up for this. Its a shame as i thought he had everything.
You banged the nail on the head with this post. It is natural progression to strengthen the squad, not to keep hold of players who are below par with the current selection of great players.
Its a shame to see faddy may go, but if we can get 4 or 5 million for him, id sell him without hesitation..he can do it with scotland, but as always struggled here, maybe because he hasnt really been given a long run, but you cant have a long run unless you can score, and that has been his big problem. Personally I dont even think he is a prem player, maybe he is with lesser teams i just dont really know for sure. But I think with a player or two in the Jan windows, and more players coming in, in the summer there really isnt any place for him, apart from the bench, but even then with big vic, vaughn and AJ well ahead of him, it would be a good thing to get rid. Hibbert your right, with the hoof ball he likes to play when the others try to play it on the deck...but I dont think he is too poor, I think he needs to learn not to do that. Neville he has his heart in the right place and wants things to happen, but he seems to have serious problems passing the ball, what we really need is a good midfielder (so nev isnt in that pos) and another good defender, and I do think we will hit the right mark.
Sell in Jan make your money, or w8 and get virtually nothing for him later on.
