I've just done the facebook thing, and am glad to have done so. This being my first post, I'll just state that I'm a new EFC fan, only been following the club for the last two seasons. I'm from the US, and basically got sick of the pro sports over here and the athletes. I've always loved the league and the type of game played. I really started to root for Everton because I work right along side a Reds supporter ... and well, I just had to go the opposite way. I watch all the matches either on TV or over the computer, and I've enjoyed the thrills so far. I'm always looking forward to the next match.

Welcome mate. We have a few American fans so you're not alone :)

Woohoo, a Bay area fan! My mom comes from San Fran and I was born up near Yosemite.

In San Rafael, CA, there's a pub called The Mayflower. Right inside, there's an EFC scarf plain as day. Right then I knew, "This is a bar for me." I just moved there, and it was the first watering hole I went to. It was enough. There's a Stoke scarf and a few others, but no Liverpool colors anywhere!

P.S. -- Yosemite=probably one of the most beautiful places in the world.

First order of business for you should be to subscribe to Setanta Sports through your satellite or cable provider.

Second order of business will be the check the "Everton on TV in USA" thread that sticked over in the World Football forum. I try to keep it updated a few days in advance of a match.

Glad to have you.

Right now you only think you "chose" Everton. You'll find out in time as we all have that Everton "chose" us.

Hey guys, I joined through the facebook link as well. I'm an Everton fan, originally from Kent, but now living in the USA as well, in Massachusetts. It's difficult to catch the games, I watch most over the internet, but we have a local bar/pub in town that has Setanta so I catch a few there too.

Whereabouts in Kent were you, Terret? I'm in Welling (although it seems more like south London to me)
