No its not.
But its quite annoying reading people saying sell him or that he played badly.
I think he did ok, he played the entire game in midfield on his own, Iceland went missing, as per this season, Iwobi and Walcott lost the ball everytime they got it, he sprayed the ball around and drove it forward a few times.
We need better and hopefully Gomes makes a difference, but who do people think will play alongside Gomes?

I said on this forum when we first bought him, "why do we need to buy a near 30 year injury prone player at this time" and now I believe even more so especially how much he gives the ball away constantly.
He probably was when we bought him but he has been scheisse for the majority of his time on the pitch with us until now.
His decision making most of the time is either crap or cowardly.
Good signing but it's not worked out at all. And that's without even thinking of the silliness on social media.
We have either had rotten luck to get him in the worst form of his career or his attitude stinks IMO
