I live in America and it's not accepted in any corporation to refer to any subset of minorities as colored. It is completely unacceptable. People saying this are clueless. Black people have fought against the colored label for like 30 years now. Just stop with this stuff.

Do some people still use the term? I'm sure they do but it is not something people are ever advised to do here. It's such a lying bs excuse by that guy.

Yup. I’m an American in my forties and “coloured” hasn’t been considered socially acceptable in my lifetime. It’s very offensive. Among friends and colleagues, there are differing opinions in whether to self-identify as black, African-American, or a person of color.
