Should we get through to play Man City or Villa (a) in round 6 the tie will be played on Sun 13th March with a 4.45pm ko. The game will be televised live on ESPN

We will beat Reading and then play Citeh. We will draw at wastelands and then school them at Goodison.

I think Moyes and the lads know that this is the chance to save the season. The passion we showed last Saturday reminded me of last season. If we carry that spirit through to the rest of the tournament I belive we will win it.

Also Utd or Aresnal won't be in the next round. Who ever goes through out of them two will see the Premiership/Champions League as their priority.

I don't think its a question of saving the season but of making it. If we beat Reading we face a real danger because $ity are taking the cup seriously playing a first 11. If we beat them we can win it.

It is vital that Everton punch its weight as a big club and at the moment the Cup is the way. The final may not be the huge all important day it was 30 or 40 years ago but it is still the single biggest day in the domestic calendar and I want us in it.

unfortunately the cup final this year will become 1 of the least remembered, as the fans of other teams will be out watching their team in a league fixture. it wont be 'cup final' day.

have they not made it a dinnertime or teatime k.o. yet for the telly ?

I have a feeling we will be playing Villa (if we get through) City have interest in the Europa and are pushing for the Champions league, so they might take their eye off the ball.

Villa away is a daunting fixture - not because they are a good team, but because we have such a lousy record there ( the 6-2 David Platt inspired hammering still haunts me to this day), but if we can beat chelski at the bridge I'm sure we can beat an inconsistent team run by a failed RS manager.

Ta mate. Any word on the April Sky / ESPN fixtures being announced?

I believe Wolves away is either 12.45 Sat or 1.30 Sunday depending on Arsenal v Barca...also Manure being moved to 12.45 on the sat. None confirmed though, but keep an eye out

The reading game is more important to begin with. They played in the PL not long ago and still have the potential to cause cupsets. Think they knocked out the RS last year, didn't they?

As far as city or villa goes, it's a tough draw either way. But then again, that'll be the quarter final. Winning such a tough fixture means we'll get to go to wembley, and hopefully that'll be enough to motivate our boys.

Just hoping we'll hit that consistent form. We need to turn up on tuesday and then show our mettle in the games against newcastle and birmingham which will be coming in quick succession. We need revenge on the former for the Hatem Ben Arfa travesty earlier this season, and on the former for last years' FA cup knockout. Man, i hope Felli stays healthy and Arteta builds on the performance from yesterday, he was great.

got to get past reading first, i think we will win though, both villa away or city away are going to be very tough but there will be a trip to wembley if we win so hopefully that thought will be in our minds. Not sure who i would prefer yo play if we beat reading, maybe villa, i know we have a good record away at city but i feel we would do better against villa.

Might be better we play Man City should we get through as the FA Cup game is sandwiched inbetween their Europa Cup games against FC Dynamo Kyiv
