I just want someone that we have a decent chance against myself, not say for example away to man utd were you would say we had no chance and i will hope for a few what you could say rubbish teams to get through today/tomorrow,anyway we are number 13 in the draw

Well, considering we have a grand total of 0 points against the current Top 8 in 8 games so far this season, I'd say we don't want anyone half decent. And based on last year's embarassing knockout to Reading, I'd prefer to stay away from any Championship or lower teams in case the bad Everton shows up. So looking at the fixtures, and assuming nothing silly (like QPR beating Chelsea), I would say:

West Brom/Norwich winner
or
Bolton/Swansea winner

We dont want any 2008/09 run, that's for sure. By that I mean that we played just about every tough team just to reach the final and Chelsea was one mountain too far. Besides, we haven't got the quality to do that kind of run again.

We need to do a Stoke from last year...sneak right into the final on home draws and against **** teams. If we have to face one tough side let it be in the final when, if you overcome the odds, that's it, you win the trophy.

I do im board, with just mid table to play for a good cup run would sort us out, Daveys attitude always seems less conservative in the cups with no draws to play for.

Two decent teams even at home in a row and we'd be out. As decent a performance as last night's was, we squeeked past a hopeless Fulham. This outfit is a pale shadow of 2009's team. We need two home draws against non PL teams in the next two rounds.
