That was the first cup final I’ve watched in a few years and have to say I really enjoyed it.

still rubbish that it wasn’t 3pm, and Taylor did his best to ruin it with the sending off.

Arteta has done a great job at giving Arsenal some fight and backbone, but it's predicated on them being snidey cheats throwing themselves on the floor, so it’s still a million miles off being a top side, but from what they were before he got there it’s a massive improvement.

Chelsea looked like they were going to batter them from that opening 15-20 mins but after that, they looked impotent in attack and are just awful defensively.

got some really good players including some great young prospects, but have no identity really and are lacking a spine.

don’t see Werner making much of a difference for them, as their issues aren’t up top, but a good defensive signing or two and they could be a really good team.

Today was yet another game ruined by the referee and VAR - absolute shambles from both on numerous occasions, but no consequences for poor performances.

If VAR isnt going to get sorted out it should just be binned - I can just about cope with the Garbo refs bollocksing the game up every week, but to have to watch the corrupt crap from stockley park, match after match, week after week again next season will put me right in the nut house.
So will the FA just ignore that awful decision or will it have consequences for Taylor? It should do.

The standard of refereeing nowadays is diabolical. How is it with diets, regulations and fitness tests they have become so bad?

Maybe I'm looking at it with rose tinted glasses but I can't remember them being that bad 20 years ago.
Professional referees should have at least played the game to a decent amateur level, otherwise they have no feel for, or insight into the game. Half of them seem to be classroom or gym robots, got all the certificates but haven’t a clue.
