Because we are not very good.

We've had a nice run, but let's not let that obscure the fact that this is a poor squad with which to achieve anything tangible with.

We weren't good enough to win the cup this year.

And even if we did get this far, we'd end up with citteh either in our way or in the final.

Sadly i was looking at that draw thinking what if as well…

Although look at that team we put out on the day…a 39 left back as only LB in squad, only fit striker playing as rest were injured.

Reduced to putting a CB on as striker!!

Bournemouth have spent a lot the last few years…and it shows in their squad!

I look forward to us being to spend regularly again and begin the road to having not just a good squad but an even one.

An actual LB cover to play LB would be a good start

Right, we barely haven enough of a squad to even play league matches right now. They were exhausted last match. Throw in a few extra ones and not sure how that would work

I am usually gutted to go out of the cup but this year i was not too bothered as the bigger picture was staying up and having a reset at Bramley Moore next season.
I have quite enjoyed watching the cup games this weekend as with Holepunch United also out i dont care who wins.

tbh, I’m not even bothered about winning it this year, we don’t have a good enough side

it would also be a bit mad if we won something now literally right before rhe new stadium, cos in all likelihood we would never win anything again for a while so id want that to happen in new era

I’m just gutted we didnt get two more cup ties at goodison
