Aye, it was sad in the end especially with how the day started.

However, a cup win could revitalise the club as a whole or at least offer the younger fans a glimpse of what success feels like - too many have never felt it.

Once the hoodoo is over, a bit like last year with how we beat the RS at Analfield, we can actually go with some confidence.

I'd sooner draw them at the business end of the league and CL competitions though when the massive games are piling up for them. Their second string is still a great side but it's still the second string.

Much as I would love to dream that we could go all the way this season I think our defence isn't good enough and we really needed a CB signing in January.

Our two best CB's are Godders and Yerry - ones likely out for most of the remaining season and the other is injury prone and will be missing at some stage.

Keane and Holgate partnership fills me with zero confidence particularly in the big games.
