FA Cup 3rd Round draw

We used to do our own draws in the schoolyard, there used to be "tags" I think they were called, it was either Shoot or Match that had them, little cardboard things that you would slot into a cardboard league table, one for each English and Scottish club.

Nobody bothered updating the league table, we would just draw from the 3rd round to the final for fun. Two tags for each game, cup your hands, shake it about, and your pal would pick the "winner" and so on.

I'm sure today's kids would find that absolutely hilarious.

...they were the Shoot league tables as I remember.

We should do ye, But Unless there is a turnaround in form over the next month then I wouldn't be too confident!

....I don't think you could be too confident against any top flight side at the moment but we have home advantage and that is key. I'm ok with the draw, if we can't turn Leicester over on our own patch we don't deserve to go through.

I'm a glass half empty supporter but for some reason I fancy us in the FA Cup this season.

I think we are all glass half empty fan at the minute mate, the draw against UTD and a win against Watford this weekend could be the turning point (lets hope so) we cant afford the same performances we had in November this month otherwise it could get ugly.

.....I wonder if Koeman is a 'lucky' manager and this might see us having a decent cup run. A couple of players in might just give us a bit of momentum and it would be really ironic if a winning campaign started with Stevie G La picking out our ball at the 3rd round stage.

Strange things happen in the cup.

I used to do that but would roll a die twice to get the scores. Could easily while away a Saturday morning doing that. Everton always won it, mind, as I could never accept when the die betrayed me. It was just a case of who we played along the way.

Kids today would never accept such analogue entertainment.
