It probably isn't the actual pushes which are underpinning the charge, rather how long it took the situation to disperse and the numbers involved.

It seemed to peter out and then start again as others got involved in the fracas.

Weird. Remember the incident clearly - our players didn't do much wrong. Tomkins faked being hit in the face and Afalmitano was being an absolute weapon.

The fine isn't for that incident, it's for the scuffle following McCarthys challeneg near the end of the first half.

Pretty much every player bar the injured one and their keeper got involved, thats why the FA are charging us and them, they don't like it when all the players get involved like that.

If it were just a few players they'll probably let it go.

And it doesn't matter to them who started it as people have said, this isn't the playground.
