Thing is, Red Bull have Newey working for them. He is a genius. I think it is down to an amazing chassis, backed up with more than competent aero.

Vettel has shown he has matured in the off-season. It will be hard to stop him, but I am reserving judgement until he has had a bad race and see how he bounces back.

and niether vettle or webber used or couldnt use there kers system in the race!

and i presume hamilton's "under carrage" stayed within in the limits then? if so he did very well i thought!

Yeh they said afterwards Red Bull didnt have KERS in their cars all weekend, they believe it also has some disadvantages, like carrying the extra weight for the whole race.

Further down the field it gets more interesting. I really fancy the Sauber to do something tomorrow. I think they might break from the midfield and take possibly 5th. Perez looks great so far.

I'm an F1 genius. Apart from the bit where they were disqualified.

think they still had the wieght mate as they have to carry it!

Im sure Horner for Red Bull said that they havent had it all weekend and either Jordan or Coulthard said they would have less weight on their car without it.

hmmmm!

would explain alot if true!

just thought it was a rule this year not a chioce! but im always wrong!

I'm not sure if they have to carry dummy weight if they don't have it but the Kers is optional. It is so expensive that the lower teams are not running with it.

If they do have to meet a certain minimum weight then not having KERS would still allow them to distribute that weight wherever it would most help performance. They could also make some components out of slightly thicker material to make them stiffer (better power transfer) or stronger (more reliable).

I saw that.

So must have been a clear cut breaking of the rules.

Interesting to see their 'real' pace at the next race.
