Have to say, Perez is doing the perfect #2 job. He basically forced Leclerc into that mistake by frustrating him all race.

I haven't minded Imola since it's return, but it has been a micky mouse circuit since the post-94 changes. The removal of the chicane before the S/F has helped and made overtaking somewhat possible, but it's not the sort of circuit that you have wide switchbacks on where you can put position your car opposite to the guy you're fighting against.

Generally though, these sort of circuits do lead to processional races.

I sort of see Monaco as an exhibition event that they just have on the calendar. It’s not really an actual race. I’ve been to it twice and they were both boring as anything.

I used to go every year (pre Covid) with work. A great few days to look forward to.

But..... The racing is pretty miserable.
