For them, it's a great finish as it'll have brought in extra viewers. At least Damon Hill and Rosberg made a point that they do not know how the rules will be.
As Rosberg said, "Masi can make whatever decision he wants."
It’s like boxers though. They don’t like to leave on a defeat and try to go on, most of the time it ends up badly. Be brutal for him if he comes back and Russell beats him week in week out
You had Brundle make a token 'err hang on' and that's it.
Mercedes should appeal it strongly. But that said they won't win. Masi fixed it, words in his ear to enable what happened.

F1 has been bonkers this season. Just a dreadful decision at the end there though . I’m all for drama in sport but come on…Hamilton was 11 seconds up the road before that debacle.
FairPlay for verstappen as he still had to overtake under pressure but a bit of a sour taste to end it all.

I think if there is a clear regulation that suggests either A) or B) happens, which from researching and what Rosberg said there is, they should appeal.

No way I'd be back after that as Hamilton, the pundits trying to justify it are embarrassing. Saying Masi wanted racing to decide the title, the race was over and had been decided by Hamilton over the race, not because a goon bins it at the end to bring them together with Hamilton a sitting duck. This was a circus.
He couldn't fail to overtake, he had fresh softs.
The fact is there's never been a precedent were some back markers could overtake a safety car and not all.
It's a fix, one of the most blatant ever. There's no defending it.

Oh if he stays on he’ll be up there again as he’s one for the greatest drivers ever. I just don’t think he has anything to prove. It’s also not vedstappens fault either. He hadn’t won by being the better driver, he’s won thanks Masi taking it upon himself to make a spectacle rather than applying procedure.
It is not his job to make it exciting. If it finished under the SC it finished under the safety car.
Lewis has been gracious in his interview as he knows that’s not verstappens fault.
Pure fix as blatant as they come. Really put me off the sport. Lando Norris is the one I route for as whenever things goes wrong he doesn’t whinge at his team, he doesn’t blame everyone and everyone he just gets on with it and he’s very likeable.
It’s hard to want to watch that with that blatant corruption.
