House of Correction
Anyone else watching this?

Experiment where a bunch of unsuspecting members of the public are witness to a fake fatal stabbing in a pub - they don't know its fake. Like some kind of dark Beadle's About, but without the beardy man.

The programme sets out to prove the infallibility of eyewitness accounts.

Looks interesting so far. Especially when it kicked off and the lads were shouting "SMASH HIM LAD".

Caught literally the last 10 seconds of this as I was tuning to in to watch the snooker. Hope it's repeated, seemed very interesting.

This is on BBC2 right now.

A bit ridiculous really so far, the subjects witness an armed robbery but all just stand there with a "wtf" look on their face because they surely thought it was some kind of set up so didnt react like they would of done in a real situation so therefor surely any results that come from it are tainted.

Yeah eye witness testimony has always been iffy but this all seems a bit silly.

So proper criminals need to go on the thieve with a camera crew or just the atmosphere of being totally inept. Super.

No.

Eyewitness testimony which in the past has helped send innocent people to prison or death because it was believed to be reliable is actually nothing of the sort.

Unfortunatly this programs way of going about showing that doesn't seem the right way to me. When the witnesses are wearing eyeglasses which track their eyes movements its not recreating the real life situation which the courts deal in.

He takes normal people on a workshop thing and unsuspectingly plants subliminal messages into them to see if they would commit a heist.

I'm not going to tell you if he succeeds or not as I want you to download it and watch it.

It's called The Heist or something.

I'm not gonna download it cause i reckon they will commit the heist and he will take credit for it saying his subliminal messages were repsonsible when in reality it was all a set up with actors for a tv show.

There might be a twist in their though but either way i reckon it will all be set up.
