Expectations for the 09/10 PL season

I myself would be happy if we finish 4th or 5th next season and reach the semi final of any Cup competition (Carling/FA/European Cup).

As for the promoted teams I personally don't like Wolves and Birmingham City. Burnley will be a second Stoke I think, at home they will be able to do some giant killings, away they will struggle to survive.

My Dad who supports Villa (I know, I know ... but you can't chose your family can you ?) attended Villa vs Wolves in the late 70ies and told me years later that most of their fans were horrible bastards (nutters). Maybe this has changed as the 80ies are long gone and CCTV and banning orders kept the hardcore element away...

Wonderful is the fact, that Newcastle went down, I never liked them. I feel sorry for West Brom. Both I think won't get promoted next season.

We have the top 4, Villa, Spurs and City, plus the surprise package that you get every year. So we really need some more quality players if we are to repeat our 5th place or even push on.
