Top quality, young first team players in the likes of Johnson, Arteta, Cahill, Lescott, Howard, Yobo...

Few new signings with more expected. Jagielka will fit in fine, no risk at all. Pienaar the next Arteta?

Exciting prospects in the form of Vaughan, Anichebe, Kissock, Rodwell, Agard etc

One of the best managers in the league.

Potential new ground. (some obviously don't approve, but were not Bolton/Boro/City and stuck in a poor ground)

UEFA Cup beckoning...

Yet, we still all moan!

I agree Danny, these are exciting times to be an Evertonian. I really like the concepts of the new stadium, and if they turn out anything like them, I will be one chuffed supporter :)

Yeh but Evertonians are known to moan alot:lol:

I think we have the base to be a very good side, with players like Cahill, Arteta, AJ, Howard, Lescott, Jagilelka and Yobo.

We just need to consistently get into Europe every season though and i think we can do well, i mean if Boro can then surely we can?!!?!

Cant wait to new season.

New season promises many things and I think we do actually have the ammo to deliver again finally. You are right it is an exciting and good time to be an Evertonian. Now if KW could just move that stadium a bit I'd be on cloud 9!

Scotty road lad, that way were the proppa scouse team.

Kirkby is in Liverpool and the people living there are scousers. End of. Its a cheap debating point for people who like to oppose anything, and we have lots of them.

and where would you like him to move it?
Somewhere around Speke would do just fine. Even around Stanley park maybe.

Maybe just a mile down the road and demolish the mons(breeze hill), thats a good site, maybe a bit small.
As I drive around I see plenty of potential sites in the city, but I'm not a councillor and don't know why the land I see is not available for us.

You left out the great youngsters we have that's shown they can stand the pace in PL and are knocking on the door to get a permanent slot in the first 11.. Vaughan & Anichebe.

Danny, starting an optimistic, positive thread like this...no wonder you're banned on TW :D

Who would have thought, 5 years ago, that our expectations would be turned around this soon, by a young inexperienced manager, from anticipating a relegation dogfight then, to what you said now?

COYB!

It's certainly a huge development.. we are finally on the way to our former glory.. and that without financically endangering the club. As danny stated in the first post.. it's just not on the pitch we're moving ahead, it's off the pitch as well.

Can't wait to get the first game on the new stadium in 2010. The Charity Shield game, and in it crushing Tottenham to give us a great start in our new stadium. (y)

Well if all gos to plan we are looking at 2010. A new dawn beckons and TBH looks like Moyes could be the manager for a long time like Harry.
