I used to excel at a few things.

Slow pitch softball, soccer, and poker.

I don't play slowpitch anymore, it's getting hard to play soccer at my age, and i've gotten worse as a poker player.

So I guess nothing now.

Just out of interest, how do you become a worse poker player? Have you developed an eyebrow raise or twitch of the lips when a good hand arises?

Making poor odds calls. Calling preflop with marginal hands at best. Betting when checking is the smarter option. Not controlling the pot as much as I used to.

I used to be decent and made money. Loved playing tournament poker but last year, I only played a handful of times. It certainly shows in my play now. Just below average and not willing to grind it out like I used to.

What do you really excel at?

In my case, I excel at laying horses on Betfair. I rather like doing it but I have quite a low risk appetite.
